1. White wax: Normal white wax with normal melting point can be used as the impermeable material to seal and coat specimens.
2. Melting box: A metallic box of sufficient capacity to securely contain the melted wax and withstand oven heating.
3. Duct tape: Duct tape is used for wax coating and sealing.
