• Six specimens are required at both relative humidities. Each specimen is a 100 ± 6 mm diameter disk and 6 ± 2 mm thick. Specimens are obtained from either molded cylinders or drilled cores. When cores are obtained, surfaces to be tested should be clearly identified with respect to their original location in the structure.
• Specimens from the same material with the same history must be tested at both relative humidities in order to validate the results.
